Tula Biocotton

Tula is a project that probably makes the most sustainably produced garments you will wear!
 

• made of organic Desi varieties of cotton
• grown in rainfed conditions i.e. no groundwater is exploited
  
• use natural dye
• cloth handwoven by traditional weavers of Melkote, Karnataka
• tailored with hand-operated sewing machines
• some garments are embroidered by Lamabdi tribal women in Sittlingi, Dharmapur Dt, reviving a dying artform.

Tula aims to create a replicable business model for the whole organic cotton value chain, which would be sustainable and leave a light footprint on the environment.

No chemicals are used at any stage. After washing these garments retains an amazing shape and softness. Wear them with pride!
