Mooli-baingan sabji

1/2 kg mooli (white radish), chopped into small cubes

5 medium-size tomatoes, chopped fine

1/2 kg baingan (eggplant), chopped slightly bigger than the mooli cubes

dry spices--turmeric, coriander and red chilli powder--to taste

salt--to taste

1/2 cup oil

1 tbsp cumin seeds

1. Heat the oil in a pan. Put in the cumin seeds, then the radish, saute for  2 min and add the baingan and saute for 3 min. Add the tomatoes and dry spices afer this.

2.Toss all together well; continue tossing for 3-4 minutes on a high flame. Then lower the flame ,add salt and cover with lid and allow to cook, stirring occassionally, till done. Previous  Next  Home
