Thinai adai

1 cup thinai
1/2 cup toor dal
1/2 cup channa dal       
2 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1/2 cup grated cabbage
1/2 cup grated coconut
 3 dry chillies
salt to taste


1. Mix the different grains together, and soak in water for 2 hours.
2.  Grind the mixture along with asafoetida, coconut, chillies and salt. Mix in the grated cabbage and prepare adai on the pan. Use gingelly oil for cooking the adai.
