Know Your Waste
- a workshop on Sunday March 15
6 am to 8.30 am
- Visit to Kodangaiyur Waste Dump and interaction with waste-dump affected community, hosted by Vettiver collective (please register using the form here)
9.30 am to 1 pm @reStore
- Short films on sanitary waste, e-waste, plastics and interaction with Eco femme, Waste Less (Auroville) and Samriddhi foundation (chennai)
- 'Garbology' games for adults and children
- Live demo of waste segregation and composting
- "When waste becomes resource" - presentation by Vellore Srinivasan on municipality and institutional initiatives
Venue: reStore, 150/3 ECR Kottivakkam Chennai 41All are welcome. Light refreshments included.
